A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a physician. Childrens Expectorant Recuse:
For children 6 to 12 years: 1 tablespoonful every 4 hours
Children 2 to 6 years of age: one teaspoon every 4 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period.
For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor.
